Topping the housing off is a high-flow polypropylene cap with a 1 1/4″ internal port that allows water to pass through rapidly. This coupled with the already larger-than-standard filter capacity make Big Blue Housings popular choices for high flow applications. The Pentek 150240 1 1/2″ Big Blue 10″ Filter Housing is an extra-wide housing that accommodates large 4 1/2″ wide filters for increased flow. This housing does not have a pressure relief button on the cap.
