Description
The Hydronix 40″ Sediment Filter Cartridge 20-Pack is the same 50 micron filter as the Liquatec SDF-25-4050 Filter. Constructed with 100% polypropylene, this Hydronix filter is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, silt, rust and sediment. Tested and certified by NSF International under ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for material requirements only, this water filter is ideal for a wide range of commercial, residential, food service and industrial applications.
Compared to conventional filters, the Hydronix 40″ cartridge filter contains 4 separate layers of micron filtration and the outside-in flow that allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles resulting in a lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. Do not use this filter with water that is of unknown quality and microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection before or after the system. This filter is also known as part number SDC-25-4050. The graded density of this Hydronix water filter provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges.
