The GeneralAire 727-7 Humidifier Drum Shaft, also known as part number 7105 is part of the humidifier drum assembly. This 7105 Drum Shaft fits the GeneralAire 747 Series Humidifiers. When cleaning this drum shaft, squeeze the tabs on the green retainer clip and slide the clip off of the shaft end. The humidifier drum halves can now be separated to easily remove the evaporator sleeve. You should replace your evaporator sleeve at least once during the heating season.
