The AprilAire 4240 Humidifier Male Disconnect Assembly is for use in your select 700 series AprilAire whole-house humidifier. This item plugs into the humidifier base and will make contact with the female disconnect assembly. This is where a wiring connection is made between the two halves of your humidifier, allowing it to work properly.
