The Hydronix SWC-25-2020 String Wound Water Filter 20 Micron is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SWF-25-2020 Sediment Filter. Also known as part number SWC-25-2020 and PP Filter, this filter is constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord. This string wound filter is ideal for using in commercial and residential applications while effectively reducing waterborne contaminants such as sand, silt, sediment, scale and dirt.
Different wound patterns based on diverse micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right filter for your specific application. This 20 micron filter can be used with municipal or well water, but should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. The Hydronix string wound filter fits standard 20″ water filter housings requiring a 20″ media.
The operating temperature capacity of this Hydronix 20″ sediment filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). The life expectancy of this string filter depends on usage and water quality. Be sure to check the size of your filter prior to purchasing.
